How we’re funded.

Giftwell is free to use. When a shop approves our participation, affiliate purchases can help fund the service.

Look for the Ad label

Links labelled “Ad · We earn commission” are affiliate links. Giftwell earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. A shop link without this label has not been converted into a Giftwell affiliate link.

We activate affiliate links only after the relevant programme approves Giftwell. Applying to a programme does not make every shop a partner, and an example offer is never a working affiliate link.

Commission does not decide the results

Commission does not affect product matching, offer order, best-price comparisons or delivery estimates. We include supported shops even when they do not pay us. Results depend on the product information available and do not cover every retailer or guarantee the lowest price on the internet.

What happens when you follow an affiliate link

An Awin affiliate link takes you through Awin to the product at your chosen shop. The link contains Giftwell’s publisher identifier, the shop’s programme identifier and the product address. We do not add your account details, gift-list name, sharing token or postcode.

Awin and the retailer receive technical information about the visit, such as your IP address and browser information. We ask whether you allow Awin affiliate tracking and pass your choice with each link. Until you allow it, we tell Awin there is no cookie consent. You can change your choice using Cookie choices in the footer whenever affiliate links are enabled. Giftwell’s link integration does not load an affiliate tracking script or set affiliate cookies while you browse your lists.

We store your choice on this device for six months. With your permission, Awin can set attribution cookies when you follow an affiliate link. The retailer has its own privacy notice and cookie choices. Withdrawing permission changes future clicks; it does not remove cookies already stored by another website.

Your purchase stays with the shop

The retailer handles payment, delivery, returns and customer service. Always check the exact product, final price and delivery details there. Marking a gift as bought or reserving it in Giftwell does not place an order or confirm an affiliate sale.
